Fred D. Gray, Esquire is a civil rights attorney whose 67-year career helped reshape American law. Admitted to the bar in 1954, he represented Claudette Colvin and then Rosa Parks in 1955, sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott, and became Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s first civil rights attorney. His landmark cases include Browder v. Gayle (desegregating Montgomery's buses) and Williams v. Wallace (protecting the Selma-to-Montgomery marchers, helping spur the Voting Rights Act of 1965). In 2022, Gray received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Biden, adding to honors including Harvard's Charles Hamilton Houston Medallion. He is the author of Bus Ride to Justice.

Rev. Shavon Arline-Bradley is the first-ever President and CEO of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), leading its three-million-member network since March 2023. She launched the Bethune Height Changemakers Pathways, connecting collegiate Black women to mentorship and career opportunities, and grew youth engagement to over 100 campus sections nationwide. In 2006, at age 22, he became the youngest African American elected official in the nation, later serving as the 2014 Democratic Nominee for Lt Governor of South Carolina. He has been named to TIME's 40 Under 40 and twice to The Root 100, also speaking at the Democratic National Convention.

Nneka Ogwumike is an American professional basketball player and 2016 WNBA MVP who was selected first overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2012 WNBA Draft. A four-time NCAA Final Four participant at Stanford, she won a WNBA championship with the Sparks in 2016 and was named to The W25 as one of the league’s top 25 players of its first 25 years. A six-time WNBA All-Star, Ogwumike has also represented Team USA, winning gold at the 2014 FIBA World Championship. She served as President of the WNBA Players Association and has been a mentor and advocate for girls in sports and civic engagement.
